Here's what to expect
If you’re new to church, or it has been a long time, walking into a service can feel like a big step. This page is here to take the guesswork out of your first visit and help you feel at ease before you arrive.
You don’t need to know any songs, have it all together, or believe what we believe to come along. Just come as you are.

What actually happens
Here’s a quick run-through of a normal Sunday at Beyond:
Arrive and say hi
Chat with our team, or hang back and take it all in. No pressure either way.
Kids check in (if you have kids)
Our UpStreet kids program runs during the service for prep to grade 6. A friendly leader will help you check your kids in, answer questions and show you the room.
Music and welcome
We’ll sing a couple of songs. Lyrics are on the screens. You’re free to join in or just listen.
Message that connects with real life
One of our communicators will share a talk from the Bible that’s designed to help with everyday life in the real world.
Hang around if you’d like
Many people stick around after to chat, ask questions or get to know others. You can head off straight away if you need to.
