You Weren’t Meant to Do Life Alone
At Beyond Church, we believe following Jesus isn’t just about believing - it’s about doing. And doing is a lot easier when you’re surrounded by people who know your name, care about your story, and help you follow through.
That’s why we prioritise circles over rows - because life is better connected.
Why Groups Matter
Jesus didn’t just give sermons - he built circles. He challenged people to live differently, not just think differently. In a group, you’ll find the kind of people who remind you that your faith isn’t meant to stay in your head - it’s meant to move through your hands, habits, and heart.
Groups are where we…
- Process truth together
- Practice what we preach
- Support one another through life’s highs and lows
We call this the ABC’s of Community:
- Accountability - You won’t just hear truth, you’ll be encouraged to live it.
- Belonging - You’ll know others, and be missed when you’re not there.
- Care - You’ll be supported when life hits hard - and have people to celebrate with when it doesn’t.
What Kind of Groups Can I Join?
Alpha: A 4-week group that is ideal if you're curious about faith, new to faith, or returning to faith.
Life Groups: Are a place where people have the opportunity to pursue authentic community and spiritual growth. When you join a group, you will spend time socialising, learning, and praying together. All you have to do is show up, join in, and be real.
Short-Term Groups: A 3-4 week group experience, typically online, that focuses on a specific topic.
“Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
— Jesus, Matthew 7:24
