As children you might have received a Bible full of long words and names you couldn’t pronounce.  Somebody told you that everything in it was true and we should do our best to abide by its teachings.  Then...you grew up.  You found out what else was in the Bible, or you googled what else was in the Bible. What was simple when you were younger is not so simple anymore.  Perhaps that’s because we were taught Bible stories but not the story of the Bible.
